Hi, Shooting is an enjoyable topic to have. I have just passed the old style level 2 assessment, and a bloke on my course had shooting for his finals. You might be wise to choose the 6 players you coach, maybe go for the more confident and skillful ones who can execute the technique and skill to a fair level. It will make it easier for you to coach and try different formats. Start point, maybe midfield pass into striker who turns and shoots. There are various techniques and skills you can build around this. Some key points our tutor advised us on were, take shooting opportunity when it presents itself, follow in a shot in case keeper spills, distance and angles of support - this can create shooting opps for man on the ball, or allow set ups to be made. Hope this helps somewhat, good luck and let us know how you do. |
