Default EUFA B LEVEL 3 "When, where and how to dribble"

Hi, i am delivering this next weekend.

set up -target zone -1 target player and 2 wide servers
7 defenders plus gk 3-2-2 attacking target area
7 attackers 3-2-2 attacking big goal
start position -target player to central attacker who plays a ball wide to create a possible 1v1
Key factors
penetration -develop 1v1 situations
dispersal -create space wide, alert to combination opportunities
support -unit adjusts behind and around the ball
mobility -stretch opponents, create space behind and around defenders
Movement of all players to create space for 1v1 scenarios
positive attitude
techniques of dribbling
when - when there is 1v1 situation
where -final third
how -techniques
end product -shot cross pass

any thoughts on formations or coaching points?
Thanks

My initial thoughts are that i need to reduce the teams to a 5v5 or smaller as this is a function and i intend to cone off the left side of the pitch from the 6 yard box to the half way line.
Maybe defenders have gk and 4 outfield players and attackers have 5 outfield players?
A target player and 2 wide servers in the target zone on the half way line.
Attackers attacking the big goal.
Defenders' incentive is to get the ball to target area.
Any thoughts on set up would be appreciated.
Cheers

It sounds like you have the main concepts covered.

I am due to start my L3 in Oct, so I can't be anymore help I am afraid. There were a few L3 qualified coaches who posted here, but I have not seen any posts from them for a while.

Please keep us posted, and can I ask advice when I start mine?

Good news on the Level 3, 74OS. The next level of certification here in the states is the C Course, but given how I struggled to please the inspectors with my D (and the fact that it'll run $1000), I'm not planning on going any higher.

I struggled too. Only managing a pass on a retake. You remember my exhausted and distaraught postings?

I will attempt a different strategy this time, taking far more notes, maybe even faking an injury as you have suggested in the past.

Anyway, I will report on how it goes.
