Hi all,
I'm just about to start planning my 4 linked sessions but can't remember exactly how it works. Do you have to do 4 sessions based around one topic, e.g, finishing, or can it be 4 different sessions that are related, e.g, short passing, turning, running with the ball, and finishing. These 4 would be used under a general 'attacking' theme. Please help as I can't recall what my tutor said! Thanks |

Hi
The four sessions must be linked around a topic or principle and an example is given in the log book using defending. There is no reason why you can't work on an attacking principle and start with 1v1 work built through to 4v4. You could spend 4 weeks on dribbling and include creating space, dribbling, support play and finishing. |

Hi DB1,
So you would maybe use attacking principles! Start with dribbling technique Then include creating space as a technique or skill? Then dribbling as a skill Then support play and finishing as a 4v4 SSG??? or would you do it differently?? Kip |

Hi
Yes thids fine, but I may change the order a little and have progression in each session, for instance: 1) Dribbling tech to skill 1v1 + SSG 2) Review tech, skill 1v1, progress 2v2 + SSG 3) Review tech, skill 1v1, 2v2, progress 3v3 + SSG 4) Review all the above and progress 4v4 SSG |
