What's the skill level?
Since it is hard to play games in a gym, can you get the girls to each bring a ball in? If you can, you have some options. Get your girls to work on juggling the ball. do you have any skills DVDs, like Coerver or All The Right Moves? The girls can work a bit on learning a good move, even if just a scissors-stepover, the dragback or the Cruyff turn. it's a little easier learning these moves in a gym, actually, because the surface is so smooth.
Actually, as I'm thinking about it, Val posted a good dribbling move that would work well in a gym because there are so many lines painted on the floor. Have six or 7 different spots on the court where the girls have dribble along a line for 10-15 yards. Have them dribble down the line crossing the ball over the line using only one foot, it will get them good practice on the outside of the foot. Next day you do it, have them count how many times they can get the ball to cross the line in that 10-15 yard stretch. This is good preparation for the Matthews move (which I can't really describe, but get one of those DVDs and you can see it).
As for fitness, you can work on teaching the stretches you want to do, and it may be easier in the gym since the girls aren't getting cold/wet sitting on the ground. You can also do lots of short sprints, the 10-20 yard variety.
Good luck. It is hard. How long are you going to be stuck in the gym?
