Getting forwards, who tend towards being prima donnas, to defend is hard. I'd say, play the 2-2-1 and tell your forwards, since you must score frequently to have that kind of record, that there's only position, and there's competition, and the player who best plays a complete game (i.e. defending as well) will get more playing time.

yeah last years ratio was every goal they scored on us, we scored 3, and this year its at 5. yeah, i had a big speech with them about that, and it looks like everyones been working hard to help out back on defense. i dont remember the final score, but we ended up winning by quite a bit. and were without the best gk in the state for the age group.
