I was thinking of splitting it up like.
Playing Experience: clubs / years / age group I played there. Coaching Experience: ^ same except teams I coached, licenses, memberships Referee Experience: leagues I've reffed in, current grade level Management: position / duties Should I include tournament championships, or just regular league championships?? I'm currently in the process of diagramming my training sessions to keep in my 'soccer folder'. Letters of recommendation would probably be by an administrator? Is there a need to put your coaching records? Also, should I include rec or just keep select coaching teams? THANKS |

Letters of recommendation can be by anybody, but parents' recommendations may carry the most weight. Ask for more than you need, because if you ask three people for resumes, one will be no more than the J-was-a-good-guy variety and one person won't get around to it.
All coaching matters. Obviously if you are trying to get a select coaching position, you would want to highlight your select coaching and playing experience, but you should include all of it. And in the hyper competitive world of select coaching, tournament wins matter, do include them. I don't know about coaching records. I guess, yeah, include them, but player development matters more, so if you are looking to quantify your success, better stats might be number of Div I scholarships (the holy grail of coaching success), number of lower level scholarship and players competing, and if you're new in the game, number of players starting for their HS teams.
