I've enjoyed the series, and many of my kids have read the books over the years, but at the end of the day, I can take or leave them. I've preferred the books over the movies, just because they're better.
As for predictions, the only unique one I've got is that Neville is going to go mano y womana with Belletrix LeStrange. Maybe even better than Harry's battle with Lord V.

SPOILER ALERT*****
READ NO FURTHER..... unless you've already finished. Just to keep you honest, Val, let's see what your score was (and I can do this because I didn't get drawn into the predictions game). 1. Right on the money. I'm not sure what you mean by Voldemort moving out of the shadows. 2. Right on this as well. Lead characters just don't die. I also knew Ron and Hermione weren't going to die either. 3. I get your point about Draco's rehabilitation, and obviously he's changed, but no face off with his dad. The total humiliation of the Malfoys, starting with Lucious losing his wand, was very interesting. But no points here. 4. Great to see the rehabilitation of Kreacher as well, and I think Dobby's death was the saddest. But no points here. 5. Neville didn't go against Bellatrix, but he certainly was the big star of the battle of Hogwarts, what with keeping the Dumblodore's Army flame going and killing Nagini. I'll give it to you here. So, 3 of 5. Pretty good. |
