I am in the same boat. I have had a successful 7 a side team but now need to make the transition and recruit additonal players to bolster the squad.

I am working on overload scenarios, i.e 4v3, 5v3, 3v2, 6v4; use of space and movement; lobbing and high shots to utilise the size of goals; SSG's that work on core abilities such as 1v1; passing in triangles; shooting; playing out from the keeper etc. I will introduce offside as i go. Set pieces come later. I have a number of SSG's if you need me to be more specific?

Divide the pitch into 3 zones att, mid, def, and based on your formation look at how the players move when team has the ball, and doesn't. Play lots of ssg where overloading, mobility & creative play is highlighted, use progressive drills for each unit - def, mid, att, and then how they operate together. Shape is not so important as most teams you play will not have a great understanding of it,. and ball skills are more important at that age.

Rather than send through a number of SSG's i would point you in the direction of the giveusbackourgame website and Paul Cooper will send you through a book of them. But concentrate on overloads and using space withn different areas of the pitch as already advised.
