Default Attacking - pass and support (SSG)

I am doing my level 2 and for my second support day i have been asked for the SSG to do attacking pass and support and this is what i have so far.

The game is for a 4V4 but 12 players need to be used

So i will use 8 players (4v4) and then each team will have a goalkeeper (the goalkeeper is not in a goal but in an end zone he/she is able to run along the goal line to create space to be passed to), and 2 wingers (only allowed two touch, cannot be tackled, allowed to run up and down the wing, not allowed out of their channel and need to play the ball back in to the team who played them the ball) will be used to create the 12 players needed.

First of all the key factors

On the ball (not in a particular order)
  • Recieving skills
  • Protection of the ball
  • Drawing the defender
  • Observation/ exectuion of pass
  • Creating space
  • Vision
  • Communication
  • Movement
  • Team shape
Off the ball (not in a particular order)
  • Communication
  • Movement/ support play
  • Body shape to recieve the ball
  • Team shape
  • Draw defenders
How its run

  1. Pick one team
  2. Opposition forward loses the ball by playing it to the keeper (game related)
  3. GK starts by passing the ball to the DF then the game begins
  4. goal is scored if a team passes the ball to the opposition GK
Key thing to pass and move, but alway keep attacking in mind

also if the opposition team is having to much of the ball limit their touches so i will get chance to coach my own team.

ANY ADVICE ON THIS IS WELCOME

with the 4v4 go for a shape of 211, so you can work an overload from def, affect the movement of your midfielder then into recieving channel in space, then same for striker to open up pass for keeper.

Watch the size. go for 40*20, then extra channels for other players.

Also switch the keepers/wingers after few mins so they have competitive playing time too.

Progression: to affect speed of play,
