The Football Association Level 1 Coaching course is primarily designed for those in charge of Junior Football Groups and is an essential requirement for Coaches and Managers within Clubs who wish to obtain Charter Standard status. It will assist candidates in promoting and establishing working relationships, leading to high standards of behaviour with players, coaches, parents and officials. It aids the promotion of mini-soccer coupled with organisation and supervision of games and also explains children's growth and development, the learning process, overplay injuries and football fitness. Also covered are the Laws of the Game, elements of Football Administration, Emergency Aid and Safeguarding Children.
