Spain Worthy World Cup Champions

Without a shadow of a doubt, Spain where the best team in the World Cup, by a country mile. Their brand of pass and move football, is not only a joy to watch, but gains results. It was amazing how many times in the second half of matches, Spain played better and also scored the goal that ultimately won the match. Co – incidence? Or because the opposition worked so hard defending, chasing the ball, that they got tired, mentally and physically and Spain got more and more on top, created holes and exploited them with goals.

Defensively Spain were also top class. Working incredibly hard, from the front to pressure high up the pitch and with each and every player contributing defensively to the team cause. Whilst every one of the players is a top, top star. The team didn’t seem to have a single ego. They were truly a team in every sense of the word.
