Football Coaching Drills

There are two animated football coaching drills to watch.

The first one is an animated football coaching drill called, Develop quick interplay to shoot. This is a rotating football drill, designed to encourage players to play quick give and goes, before looking to shoot at goal.

Players should be encouraged to play with their heads up: communicate: give accurate passes: time their support runs: assess the goalkeepers’ position and shoot accurately.

The second animated football coaching drill is called Develop Play through a central player and it helps football coaches understand how they can coach support play. The players should look to pass to the central player, who links play by then passing to one of the outside supporting players. The practice is then repeated

Players should be coached to provide good, early support to the player on the ball: communicate, both verbally and with hand gestures and to pass the ball accurately and with timing.
